Wall Plate Hammock Hook
€7.00
Description
This simply made hook is quite robust enough to hang from but as always with this type of thing it’s important that the fix you get into where you’re putting it is strong. In other words, it’s more likely that you’ll end up on the floor because the screws pull out of a crumbly wall or rotten timber than the hook will bend or break.
The hook is suitable for use in masonry or in timber. For use in masonry it comes with 4 x plastic wall plugs. You will need to drill
8mm holes with a suitable drill bit for this. If going direct into timber pre-drill 3 or 4mm holes and use only the screws provided without plugs. Instructions are included.
Please note that if you intend to fix to a stud (partition) wall it may be better for you to use our Single Screw Hammock Hook as it is easier to centre the one screw into a stud. If you are unsure about what you’re doing please get someone who knows about this type of thing to do it.
The hook is zinc plated and therefore suitable for use in or outdoors.
